Terms of Service

Green Clean provides residential and commercial exterior cleaning services, including soft washing, pressure washing, house washing, roof cleaning, driveway and concrete cleaning, deck and patio cleaning, fence cleaning, gutter brightening, and related services in Toledo, Ohio and surrounding service areas. Specific scope, pricing, and schedule are described in the written estimate or invoice provided for your job.

• Estimates are based on the information you provide and our visual assessment. Final pricing may be adjusted on-site if conditions materially differ from what was described (for example, significantly heavier algae, mold, oil staining, or larger square footage).
• Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.
• All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.

• You agree to provide reasonable access to the property, including water (hose bib) and electricity (standard 120V outlet) when needed.
• You are responsible for closing windows and doors, removing fragile items, and notifying us of any sensitive landscaping, pets, security cameras, or surfaces that require special care prior to the start of work.
• We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, safety conditions, or events outside our reasonable control. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to notify you as early as possible.

• Payment is due in full upon completion of the job unless other arrangements are made in writing.
• We accept major credit/debit cards, cash, and check. A processing fee may apply to certain payment methods.
• Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee. Past-due balances accrue interest at 1.5% per month (or the maximum permitted by Ohio law, whichever is lower).
• If collection becomes necessary, you agree to pay reasonable collection costs and attorneys' fees.

You may cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment at no charge if you notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, may be subject to a $75 trip fee. We may cancel for safety, weather, or unsafe site conditions without penalty to you.

You agree to disclose, prior to service:

• Damaged, loose, or improperly sealed siding, paint, caulking, roofing, windows, screens, or trim.
• Leaking windows or doors, unsealed light fixtures, electrical defects, or open vents.
• Stains caused by rust, irrigation, fertilizer, paint, battery acid, or similar substances that may not fully remove with standard cleaning.
• Sensitive landscaping, recently planted vegetation, koi ponds, water features, or outdoor pets.

Green Clean is not responsible for pre-existing damage or defects, nor for water intrusion through improperly sealed windows, doors, vents, or siding.

Our cleaning solutions are formulated for exterior use and are diluted to manufacturer recommendations. We pre-rinse and post-rinse landscaping to minimize impact. While our process is designed to be safe for healthy plants and landscaping, customer is responsible for watering plants thoroughly the day before service if conditions have been dry. Green Clean is not liable for damage to plants, grass, or landscaping that was stressed, diseased, or improperly cared for prior to service.

• Roofs: Soft washing follows ARMA (Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association) guidelines. Granule loss in older shingles is normal and not a defect.
• Wood: Older wood, weathered wood, and previously stained or sealed wood may not return to a uniform appearance; we cannot guarantee removal of every stain.
• Concrete & Pavers: Efflorescence, rust, oil, paint, and tire marks may not fully remove. Concrete may dry to a slightly different tone where heavy stains were lifted.
• Painted Surfaces: Failing paint, chalking, or oxidized paint may be removed by water pressure. Disclose paint condition in advance.

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with a cleaned area, notify us in writing within 72 hours of completion and we will return to re-clean the affected area at no charge. The guarantee does not apply to staining or damage caused by factors outside our control (e.g., new growth after extended time, irrigation overspray, animal damage, or pre-existing conditions).

Green Clean carries general liability insurance. Our maximum liability for any claim arising out of services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. In no event shall Green Clean be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Any claim must be made in writing within 30 days of service.

Unless you notify us otherwise in writing prior to service, you grant Green Clean the right to take and use before-and-after photos of your property for portfolio, social media, and marketing purposes. Identifying details such as street numbers or vehicles will be obscured upon request.

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, photos, and software — is the property of Green Clean or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, or to interfere with the website's operation.

Our website may use third-party services for forms, analytics, scheduling, and payment processing. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Except as expressly stated, our website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Lucas County, Ohio, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
